Presentation

The Presentation dialog box is displayed by default when the application starts. It opens by indicating the interesting events of the day visible from the observation place. If no interesting events are calculated, the box opens with the latest scientific news articles (INFO tab).

The right part of the window offers several shortcuts. We can find there:

• The possibility to directly access the planetarium and 3D navigation modes.
• Links to ephemerides of the month or the computation of rises and sets of the planets, the Sun and the Moon.
• Access to a small glossary of astronomical vocabulary.
• And finally, the help of WinStars.
