The Ephemeris box is used to calculate the significant events visible from your location. Please note that all displayed times are indicated in Universal Time (UT).

Note

Universal Time (UT) is a time scale based on the rotation of the Earth. It is the modern extension of the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is the average solar time at the Greenwich meridian. GMT was replaced by UT in 1972.
