3D parameters¶
3D settings¶
- The Buffer parameter can improve the framerate [1]. Change the setting and restart the application to see the result.
- The Multisampling parameter improves the contour of objects, but requires more calculations to generate 3d images. Use this option only if you have a high-performance system configuration.
- Wireframe mode: When this option is enabled, textures are no longer applied to objects and they appear transparent.
- VSync : synchronizes the refresh of the images on the monitor frequency. This prevents an unpleasant scanning effect on the screen.
- FPS : Displays the number of images generated per second in the upper right corner of the screen. The FPS limit option allows you to restrict the rate of image production (useful to avoid overheating the graphics processor or limit the power consumption of the tablet or mobile application).
- Screen luminosity: affects the brightness of the images generated by the application. Useful on screens that are too bright or too dark.
Virtual reality¶
Allows to activate virtual reality in the planetarium mode and 3D navigation mode. The camera axis then follows the inclination and direction indications from the camera’s sensors and gives an impression of immersion.
