It is based on data from JAXA&#8217;s Kaguya (Selene) probe and the camera from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lunar.gsfc.nasa.gov\">Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter<\/a>. The map also incorporates elements collected during various Apollo missions.
