Sold for less than \u20ac40 in its base version, it supports several variations of the free GNU\/Linux operating system and also works on proprietary operating systems, such as Windows 10 IoT Core and Google Android Pi.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2037\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2037\" style=\"width: 726px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2037 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/winstars.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/raspberry-pi-4-modelo-b-2gb.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"726\" height=\"487\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2037\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Raspberry 4b board<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Ode to Commodore<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>For a few weeks now, the Raspberry Pi Foundation has been offering a version equipped with a keyboard reminiscent of popular computers from the 1980s, such as the Commodore 64, the Amiga 500, and the ZX Spectrum. It is robust and features a passive cooling system, making it an interesting ally for your astronomical observations.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2035\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2035\" style=\"width: 614px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2035 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/winstars.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/raspberry-pi-400-el-ordenador-todo-en-uno-integrado-en-un-teclado-espanol.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"214\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2035\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Raspberry Pi 400<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>WinStars 3 is now available for free on these little machines. The installation may seem complex, but all you need to do is methodically follow <a href=\"https:\/\/winstars.net\/en\/installation-on-raspberry-pi-4-400\/\">these instructions<\/a> in a terminal.<\/p>\n<p>The program runs at 20 frames per second on the Raspberry Pi 400, and it is possible to improve performance by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi-spy.co.uk\/2020\/11\/overclocking-the-raspberry-pi-400\/\">overclocking<\/a> the computer. My Raspberry Pi 400, which operates at 2000 MHz, never exceeds 40\u00b0C (104\u00b0F) when I use W3.<\/p>\n<div class=\"relative flex w-[calc(100%-50px)] flex-col gap-1 md:gap-3 lg:w-[calc(100%-115px)]\">\n<div class=\"flex flex-grow flex-col gap-3\">\n<div class=\"min-h-[20px] flex flex-col items-start gap-4 whitespace-pre-wrap\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert dark\">\n<p>This is an economical solution for controlling a telescope (the Raspberry Pi version includes the Indi module) while having access to all the features of the program, particularly the massive Gaia EDR3 star catalog, which is especially useful for performing <a href=\"https:\/\/winstars.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/lp_CITPM.pdf\">asteroid reconnaissance and light curve measurements<\/a>, for example.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized nano-computer, designed by professors from the Computer Science Department at the University of Cambridge.
